IPRA's longest-standing educational and networking opportunity will take place this November at the majestic Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Galena, Illinois. PDS provides park and recreation professionals with the opportunity to gain practical application education in a small, student-focused atmosphere. Whether you are a new or seasoned professional, this is the place to develop critical skills, increase your knowledge base, and expand your networking opportunities needed for personal development and career advancement. Jason Benetti is a television sports play-by-play announcer who also has cerebral palsy. Because of his disability, Jason walks with a limp and one of his eyes drifts. In having a disability, Jason has encountered life from an angle at which most people do not. Perception of Jason has led to his understanding that one trait does not define a person. His speech includes his experiences as a member of the sports media with a disability, and the situations and relationships which stem from his observations.
