Therapeutic Recreation Section Breakfast Meeting & Education

Therapeutic Recreation Section Breakfast Meeting & Education
IPRA's Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Section consists of special recreation professionals that either specialize or work in and around special recreation agencies. The section meeting will consist of reports from the Section Board and each committee Chair, and an IPRA liaison will be in attendance to provide updates to the membership about news and events happening within the association. After the meeting Rick Lochner, RPC Leadership Associates, Inc. will present on Accountability. “Thinking like a Director with an Attitude of an Owner! One of the greatest attributes of effective and successful organizations is they have a culture of accountability. Their culture is one where everyone feels a sense of ownership in the success of the organization without relying solely on the Director to make it happen. In this interactive presentation, participants will learn what it takes to think like an owner and actively contribute to a culture of accountability in the context of their role within their organization.” If you are interested in joining the section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register. This is a members-only event, but guests interested learning more about IPRA are welcome to attend.

Breakfast is included with the registration and will include a buffet of baked egg casserole, french toast, bacon, hash browns, assorted danishes and muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and orange juice.
