Safe Zone Conversation: Racism
You are cordially invited to participate in the first 2022 member-wide Safe Zone Conversation about racism. A Safe Zone Conversation (SZC) is simply defined as civil dialogue amongst a group of people purposely engineered to discuss human topics that can be deemed sensitive, uncomfortable, or complex in nature. A growing number of professionals are actually talking about racism in the workplace, acknowledge each other’s vulnerabilities, and listening to others with different perspectives. If you’re looking for that opportunity or simply want to learn more about these valuable events and how they can benefit your agency, you are encouraged to join us. The event is open to members and non-members from all regions of Illinois. Registration is limited to the first 40 people, so don't miss out!
Who Should Attend:
Park District, forest preserve, and conservation professionals of varying levels of experience and special interests seeking to talk about the issue of racism in an
environment of mutual respect and inclusivity are encouraged to attend.
Login to your IPRA account, then select "Register Myself". If you are not an IPRA member, create a free account, then register for an event.
