Skills Development Webinar Series - 2019
The Skills Development Webinar Series provides park district professionals with access to monthly professional development opportunities from the comfort of their home or office. By registering, you gain access to 11 total webinars, February thru December, that consist of nationally known speakers or Illinois leaders in the field of parks and recreation. Using the Zoom platform, you can attend sessions live or access recordings on-demand. Either way, you get quality education at unbelievably low prices. Space is limited to 40 agencies per group, and participants must designate Wednesday or Thursday at the time of registration. We've got an exciting line-up for you in 2019, so team up with your colleagues and come join us for some high-quality, on-line professional development opportunities.

To Register: Login to your IPRA account, then select "Register Myself". If you are not an IPRA member, create an account as a Basic Contact, then register for the event. 

Fee: $250.00 IPRA Member / $350.00 Non-Member

Registration Cancellation: Cancellations received on or before January 31, 2019 are eligible for a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be available for cancellations received after January 31, 2019.

Resources: A webinar schedule and monthly sign-in sheet will be emailed to participants within 24 hours of registration. Monthly presentations and hand-outs (if any) will be made available at the time of and after the webinar. 

Platform: Webinars are delivered via Zoom, a leader in on-line meeting space. Attendees can participate in the live webinars from almost any device, or simply listen over computer speakers or via telephone lines. It isn't necessary, but attendees are encouraged to sign up for a free Zoom account and download the platform prior to participating in the webinars: https://zoom.us/meetings

Basics:  One-time registration fee includes one monthly login for topics and access to previously-recorded webinars (2019 only). Sessions are regularly held on the 2nd Wednesday and 3rd Thursday of each month (subject to change). Logins may be used from one computer, although several people may view/participate in the webinar at the same time. All times listed at CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

CEUs:
Series approved for a total of 1.1 CEUs, or 0.1 per month (Continuing Education Units are for CPRE and CPRP certification).
