Park Pursuit: Cinco de Moo Moo
The 15th Annual Park Pursuit, sponsored by IPRA's Recreation (REC) Section, is modeled after the Emmy Award-winning reality television series 'The Amazing Race'. The event provides park district professionals with the opportunity to engage in a half-day race where team building, healthy competition, and recreation take center stage. The objective is for teams to complete a series of mental and physical challenges in a race to finish the course ahead of the competition. Recreational and Competitive divisions are available, so there is something for everyone. Teams must consist of 4 members and need not be from the same agency. Come enjoy a day full of fun, team building, and networking with your colleagues. Registration is per team and includes a lunch, t-shirt, and course map/materials for each team member. Team captains will be notified via email of the check-in/starting point of the event, and all participants will be required to complete a participation waiver on-site before the start of the race.

Who Should Attend: Park and recreation, conservation, and forest preserve district professionals

To Register: Login to your IPRA account (See "Sign in" to the right or below), then scroll down to select "Register Myself".  If you are not an IPRA member, create an account (See create a new account under "Sign in", then register for the event).  *Note:  Teams must be registered by April 14 in order to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Fee: $150.00 IPRA Member / $210.00 Non-Member, fee is per team.

Event Safety:  Any participant who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to the coronavirus or has symptoms of any illness should stay home and seek medical care if necessary.

Cancellations: Refunds will be issued to requests received on or before April 28, 2022, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 28, 2022.

Participation Waiver: Each team member must complete a participation waiver prior to competing in the event. Team captains will receive an email with a copy of the waiver to be distributed to team members. Completed forms can be submitted at check-in the morning of the event.

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, the team captain will be notified by 7:00 a.m. via email. There is no rain date for this event.

CEUs: Event is not approved for CEUs (Continuing Education Units are for CPRECPRP, or CTRS certification).
