PNRM Section Meeting & Education: Natural Areas Management

PNRM Section Meeting & Education: Natural Areas Management
IPRA's Parks & Natural Resource Management (PNRM) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around parks and natural resources. This is a joint event with the Midwest Institute of Park Executives (MIPE), and affiliate of IPRA. The PNRM section meeting will be immediately followed by a presentation on Natural Areas Management provided by Jim Kleinwachter from Conservation Foundation, Bill Bedrossian from Bedrock Earthscapes, and a representative from Carol Stream Park District.  The group will start off indoors with a presentation on the uses and designs of natural areas including how to get started. This will be followed by a walking tour of some of their natural areas in various stages of development with some real world tips on how to take care of them.  The tour will be followed by lunch and the MIPE meeting.  If you are interested in joining the section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register. This event is for IPRA and MIPE members only, but guests interested in learning more are welcome to attend.
