PNRM Section Meeting & Education: Chloride Reduction

PNRM Section Meeting & Education: Chloride Reduction
IPRA's Parks & Natural Resource Management (PNRM) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around parks and natural resources. This is a joint event with the Midwest Institute of Park Executives (MIPE), an affiliate of IPRA.  The event will begin with Stephen McCracken, Director of Watershed Protection from the Conservation Foundation covering trends and patterns in surface water chloride concentrations, impacts of chlorides in surface water, state laws associated with chlorides, and reductions in practices.  The presentation will be followed by PNRM and MIPE meetings.  If you are interested in joining the section or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, you are encouraged to register. This event is for IPRA and MIPE members only, but guests interested in learning more are welcome to attend.
