Park District Conservation Day at the Illinois State Fair

Park District Conservation Day at the Illinois State Fair
The Illinois State Fair is an annual festival at the Illinois State Fairgrounds over an 11-day period in mid-August each year. This year, the State Fair will be held August 11-21, and Saturday, August 20 is designated as Park District Conservation Day. Come celebrate one of IAPD / IPRA's greatest statewide public awareness events. Whether it be as a participant, volunteer, or entertainer, come have some fun and help promote park districts, forest preserves, conservation, recreation, and special recreation agencies in Illinois!

Outstanding Opportunity for Your Program Participants!

IAPD and IPRA encourage our agencies to send dance troupes, tumblers, theater groups, bands, chorales, orchestras, and zoos to perform on Park District Conservation Day at the Illinois State Fair on Saturday, August 20. No group is too large or too small!

Help us reach more than 100,000 people with positive messages about Illinois park, recreation, and conservation agencies by showcasing your agency’s programs and making your participants feel like stars.

Performers and chaperones receive COMPLIMENTARY parking and admission to the Illinois State Fair on Park District Conservation Day.  Register your agency's groups today by clicking here. (Registration is free!) Check out our discounted hotel rates by clicking here
