ProConnect 18/19 - March

ProConnect 18/19 - March
The is the last in a series of five ProConnect (PC) events for 2018-2019. The IPRA ProConnect Mentorship Program features a unique multi-tiered approach including early career, mid-level career, and seasoned/retired professionals, placing a professional from each level in a three-part mentor team. Participants must apply to be considered for PC, and applications are generally accepted June - August for the subsequent year. There are five events scheduled to provide each team time to form and build relationships and share experiences with others in the field of parks and recreation. It is the purpose of this program for both the mentors and mentees to give and grow in the mentoring process by developing special partnerships based on a commitment to common goals and expectations, rooted in mutual trust and respect. In 2015, PC earned the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Power of A Silver Award. If you aspire to establish mentoring relationships to help foster your career development, you are encouraged to apply for the program.

ProConnect is in partnership with the University of St. Francis, the only private college in Illinois with an accredited park and recreation program. IPRA appreciates the University's partnership in developing the ProConnect curriculum and supporting the program as an in-kind partner.

To participate in this last event, you must have applied and been accepted into the program. For questions regarding the ProConnect, Click Here or contact Membership & Education Director Matt Fairbanks at matt@ilipra.org.
