Learning Lab: Community Solar Programming in Illinois

Learning Lab: Community Solar Programming in Illinois
Trajectory Energy Partners is collaborating with IPRA to present you with valuable information about community solar programs available to agencies in Illinois. Trajectory has partnered with Clearway Energy, the owner and operator of 19 community solar farms across Illinois and the largest community solar provider in the country, to offer a subscription package designed specifically for Illinois park districts. This program involves no upfront costs, no rooftop installation, and guarantees a 30% discount on the value of an agency's community solar credits every month. Sound too good to be true? Come join your colleagues to learn more about this cost-savings opportunity and how to implement another effective and "green" practice at your agency. This session is sponsored by IPRA’s Parks and Natural Resource Management (PNRM) Section.

Learning Objectives:
1) Learn the importance of certain renewables in Illinois 2) explain how community solar programs work and the benefits extended to your agency 3) identify how Illinois agencies can subscriber to community solar programs.
