Learning Objectives: 1) Learn the importance of certain renewables in Illinois 2) explain how community solar programs work and the benefits extended to your agency 3) identify how Illinois agencies can subscriber to community solar programs.
Who Should Attend: Park and recreation, conservation, and forest preserve district professionals interested in learning more about the benefits of community solar and how to apply to programs in Illinois.
To Register: Login to your IPRA account, select "Register Myself", then register for the event. If you do not have one, create an account (membership not required), then register for the event. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
Fee: FREE for IPRA Members / $10 Non-Members
How to Participate: The event will take place live via Zoom Webinar. It is not required to have an account, but the web browser client will download automatically when you start or join your first meeting from a computer. Attendees can also participate from a smart device using the Zoom app, or can use the call-in feature. Upon registering for the event with IPRA, participants will be emailed an invitation from Zoom with a unique join link. Live Transcriptions: Live transcriptions are available to participants for no additional charge.
CEUs: Event is approved for 0.1 CEUs and will only be awarded to those in live attendance for a minimum of 45 minutes (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, CTRS).
