Learning Lab: Leading with Health in Mind

Learning Lab: Leading with Health in Mind
How does health manifest itself in your programs, special events, and daily interactions with participants? Does it look different now than before our national health crisis? Is health even a priority for you and your team when planning programs and events? Borrowing methodology from Therapeutic Recreation, Public Health, and Health Promotion, you CAN make the healthy choice the easy choice. Jo Burns, Founder of Jo Burns Consulting LLC and co-founder of the Public Health / Parks & Recreation Collaborative of Colorado, will present this interactive and engaging session that will identify several health statistics related to and influenced by parks and recreation, and define ways for you and your team to incorporate physical, emotional, and social health into your parks and recreation organization. Come meet Jo and learn how lead, plan, and program with healthy intentions!
