Leadership Academy 18/19 - March Graduation

Leadership Academy 18/19 - March Graduation
This is the last month in a series of six Leadership Academy (LA) programs for 2018-2019.  LA is a unique learning opportunity for Park and Recreation professionals of all levels. Whether you are newer to the profession or a seasoned veteran, you can always learn different ways to be a more effective leader for your agency. There are two tiers of education to meet the various needs of professionals - 1) Team 2) Agency. Each level's curriculum includes topics such as leadership methods, accountability, strategic thinking, panel discussions, hot topics, and financial strategies. If you aspire to be better leader and grow your professional career, you are encouraged to apply for the Academy.
Program approved for 0.5 CEUs. Continuing Education Units are for CPRP and CPRE Certification.

The Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration Department of Western Illinois University is the proud sponsor of IPRA's Leadership Academy. The RPTA department program is a nationally recognized and highly respected program. It has been named a Signature Academic Program. At the successful completion of each Leadership Academy level, attendees will receive a certificate of completion endorsed by Western Illinois University.
