Financial Sustainability Certification Program

Financial Sustainability Certification Program
The Financial Sustainability Certification Program is a new program designed to enhance and accelerate career growth for park, recreation, and conservation professionals. This intensive 3-day program will address complex issues including the pressing need to practice financial discipline and acknowledge the responsibility professionals have as stewards of taxpayer dollars. Presented by Jamie Sabbach at 110%, this next generation of the Master Class in Financial Sustainability series will combine targeted and relevant content and include a fun and interactive learning environment. Offered once in Illinois in collaboration with the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD), this is one of just a few courses being offered around the country this year. Come join your colleagues for a cutting-edge learning experience that is sure to impress!

Why a Financial Sustainability Program:
Financial Sustainability is one of the most consequential challenges of this decade. In a day and age when the park and recreation organizations that were once industry flagships struggle to keep afloat, it is imperative and deeply understood that all systems are susceptible to downfall due to a lack of financial discipline and smart decision-making.

Who Should Attend: Commissioners, executive directors, department heads / superintendents, and the next generation of professionals interested in improving their financial management competencies to influence decisions that have a profound impact on communities today and well into the future.

Program Format: This three-day course will consist of 18 total contact hours, or 15 hours of content.
