Your agency just assigned you to manage a new project at your District.  In this session you will learn more about the Public Bid process, how to write up a Request for Proposal (RFP) and how to start the bid process.  Your speaker, Chris Corbett came from the Recreation side of Parks & Recreation and is now managing $14 million in Referendum projects for the Bolingbrook Park District.  This session will be great for those managers that want to learn more about the bidding process.

This class is designed to educate on how to properly maintain a safe and sanitary HVAC system. We will cover products that are listed on the EPAs List N: Disinfectants for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), which can be used on hard surfaces and also within the HVAC system. Along with these disinfectants, we will cover some current Air Purification technologies that can help improve the air quality of buildings.

Ponds on the roof! Leaky pipes! Crumbling parking lots! Not to mention the member complaints about the awful flooring! Didn’t we just renovate this place (10 years ago!?!)? How did we not see this coming? Learn what it takes to see into the future and anticipate facility needs before they become a problem. This session will provide guidance on how to create a facility maintenance and replacement strategy that will put your agency on the path toward financial sustainability. It will focus on three phases of solving this problem; first – creating a baseline of existing conditions, second – prioritizing and projecting maintenance and replacement needs, and third – creating a timeline with costs the agency can use for long term budgeting. Be the hero for your agency with insights to forecast years of maintaining your facility.
