CPRE Virtual Exam Prep Course - 2020

CPRE Virtual Exam Prep Course - 2020
Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE) is a national certification program through the National Park and Recreation Association, and it establishes a national standard for managerial, administrative, and executive park and recreation professionals. CPRE certification places you in the company of an elite group of park and recreation managers and executives, and connect you to the latest trends and information. Delivered by Mike Selep (NWCSRA) and Katie Troline (Gold Medal, LLC), this program consists of six virtual classes in November and December that will train and prepare participants to become a CPRE. Each class covers a different topic, so attendance is highly recommended but not mandatory. Come learn and network with aspiring CPRE's and join a super-elite community of professionals committed to advancing the field of parks and recreation.

To attend CPRE training sessions and sit for the exam, you must meet the following NRPA eligibility requirements:

  • Have a current CPRP certification, and
  • Have a Bachelor's degree from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism, and Related Professions (COAPRT) and 5 years of professional, full-time managerial experience, or
  • Have a Master's degree or higher and 4 years of professional, full-time managerial experience

Who Should Attend:
Professionals with CPRP certification seeking high-level administrative opportunities are encouraged to pursue CPRE designation to demonstrate leadership in all aspects of managing a park and recreation department.

What to Bring: Though it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended attendees purchase a study guide from IPRA to supplement in-class learning and test preparation. To add a study guide to your purchase, scroll down to Program and click Add next to CPRE study guide. It will be mailed to you within 3-5 days of purchasing.
