Conversation Circle: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion - Part II
Brought to you by the IPRA Diversity Leadership Taskforce, LaTonya Wilkins, a leader of change management and founder of The Change Coaches, LLC has teamed up with IPRA and its partners to bring you a two-part panel interview about diversity, social inequity, and inclusion. Joining LaTonya is a diverse and distinguished panel of professionals that includes Kimberly Mosley, President of the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association, Dr. Augustus Hallmon, professor for Northwest Missouri State University, and Dr. Jeremy Robinett, professor for Western Illinois University. The panel will dig deep down to talk about personal and professional experiences with racism and the Black Lives Matter movement to provide perspectives from diverse backgrounds. Included will be discussion about resources and next steps to help you navigate through these social complexities. This event is sponsored by the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation.

LaTonya is currently the President of the True Star Youth Foundation board, which is a digital marketing social entrepreneurship company run entirely by youth of color that recently received a Google Impact Award. She is also a board member of the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association at the Indiana University and a Leadership and Teams Instructor at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. LaTonya also won a peer-nominated award for most inclusive HR influencers in 2019. She is also a board member with the Leadership Forum Community.
