IPRA's Administration & Finance (A&F) Section consists of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around administration, finance, human resources, information technology, registration services, and/or risk management.  This is a members event, but guests interested in learning more about IPRA or the committee are encouraged to attend.

Timeline:
10:00am:  Introductions
10:05am:  A&F Section Board Meeting
11:20am: IT Networking Committee's presentation of Cybersecurity in 2022: The New Norm by Mishaal Khan, Mindsight.
12:15pm:  Lunch
1:00pm:  IT Networking Committee Open Group Discussion

Presentation Details: Cyber insurance premiums have increased 50% - 500% in the last year due to the daunting rise in cyberattacks. In some cases, insurance carriers will not quote a policy if multifactor authentication is not in place. Mishaal Khan, Mindsight Cybersecurity Leader and Certified Ethical Hacker will provide insights into cyber insurance requirements in 2022 including: ?
-Why cyber insurance is quickly becoming mandatory ?
-What insurers are requiring of their policyholders ?
-The correlation between security controls and premiums ?
-How to determine where your organization stands if you’re being required to secure a cyber insurance policy ?
-What proactive steps can be taken to protect your organization

To Register: Login to your IPRA account (see "Sign In" to the right or below), then scroll down to select "Register Myself". If you are not an IPRA member, create an account (see create a new account under "Sign In"), then register for the event.

Event Safety Protocols:  We will be following CDC, state, local, and/or facility guidelines for safety as they apply to the circumstances in June 2022.  Safety protocols may include mask-wearing, social distancing, and easy access to hand sanitizer.   When you register for an event, you will be sent a confirmation including the specific safety guidelines for that particular event. 

Any participant who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to the coronavirus or has symptoms of any illness should stay home and seek medical care if necessary.

Virtual Attendance Option:  This event will also be shared on Zoom.  Links will be sent to all registrants June 15 by 3:00pm.  There will be no recording available after the event.

CEUs: Event is not approved for CEUs (Continuing Education Units are for certifications such as CPRE, CPRP, and CTRS).

Lunch:  Lunch is available for purchase the day of the event. The cost will be $15 to be paid on-site and will include a Cali Chicken Melt (grilled chicken breast with smoked bacon, melted cheddar, avocado, buttermilk ranch, lettuce, tomato, and onion in a classic wrap).  Includes fries and a drink.  Please email Debbie Chase at [email protected] with any lunch questions.
