Aquatics Committee Roundtable & Education, February 2021
Located within IPRA's Facility Management (FM) Section, the Aquatic Committee consists of a group of park district professionals that either specialize or work in and around Aquatic Facilities. This committee focuses on both indoor and outdoor Aquatic Facilities.   The meeting will start with a presentation of "We Are Gonna Open...Right" by Joe Stefanyak with Ellis & Associates and will be followed by the Aquatics Roundtable.  If you are interested in joining the committee or simply wish to attend for educational and networking purposes, we encourage you to register. This is a members-only event, but guests that are interested in learning more about IPRA are welcome to attend.

*Please note, only the Aquatics Roundtable will be recorded for registrants unable to attend.  The presentation will not be recorded.

How to Participate: Virtual discussions are delivered via Zoom.  It is not required to have an account, but you will be asked to download the program to your device to participate. Attendees can participate from a computer, laptop, any smart device, or can use the call in feature.  Virtual links will be emailed February 4.  If you have not received your link by February 4 @ 12:00pm, please contact Kim Laper at kim@ilipra.org.

CEUs: Event is approved for 0.1 CEUs (Continuing Education Units are for CPRE and CPRP certification).

This session will discuss the Current COVID-19 Situation and will present some best-practices regarding Training Safety Guidelines, Emergency Care Safety Guidelines, and General Safety Guidelines.  An interactive question & answer session will take place following the.  Attendees will also be provided with current links to additional resources they can utilize in gaining approvals for training, re-opening, and operating during the 2021 season. This session will present the most current and accurate information as of the time of creation of the presentation, however, it should be noted that this information is subject to change – in whole or in part – as new information and guidance is provided by cited sources.
