SECTION DISTINGUISHED MEMBER AWARD
NOMINEE FORM
The IPRA Section Distinguished Member Award is presented to an active member of an IPRA Section
that exemplifies the qualities of a leader, a collaborator, and an
advocate. The nominee can be a co-worker, colleague, mentor, sponsor, or vendor; someone that is a trusted volunteer, influential leader, or a valuable contact within an IPRA Section. This person could be new to
the field, an established professional, or just someone instrumental to a section's success. Current IPRA Board of Directors are not eligible to receive the Section Distinguished Award. Nominations will be accepted August 1 - November 11, 2022.
Section Distinguished Member Award Criteria:

Current IPRA member.

Be an active member of a section.

Current IPRA Board of Directors are not eligible to receive IPRA professional recognition awards.
- Additional criteria can include (but not limited to):
- Attend section/committee meetings during the current year
- Hold a position within the section/committee
- Volunteer for an event
- Provide useful resources (host venue, in-kind donation/sponsorship, marketing, photography)
- Make a major contribution, past or present (time invested, creation of a school/event, take on a new responsibility)
Selection Process & Timeline:

Upon completion of the application, email confirmation sent to IPRA and nominator.

After November 11th deadline, IPRA sends nominations to Section Awards & Recognition Committees for review.

Winners will be communicated back to IPRA first week of December.

IPRA will contact winner's nominator and agency with results the second week of December.

Sections organize awards presentation at section meeting scheduled for end of 2022 or beginning of 2023.
