Qualifications:
|
• Must have 2+ years experience supervising an American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. • Must have knowledge of the requirements of the ARC swim levels and experience testing children and placing children in the correct swim group. • Must have American Red Cross Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor certifications. • American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred. • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). • Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-pace and safety conscious environment.

Duties:

Come be a part of our dynamic Day Camp Team! As the Aquatics Supervisor, responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: • Work with Aquatics Management team to create and conduct staff aquatics orientation prior to camp; • Develop a positive, team-oriented work environment among staff; • Conduct camper assessments, create appropriate swim lesson groupings and maintain organized records of swim level groups; • Create and implement staff schedules; • Provide staff supervision; • Actively participate in daily aquatics staff meetings and Day Camp Management meetings; • Provide outstanding communications to staff, parents and campers; • Maintain use and proper care of supplies, equipment, facilities, and grounds. • Serve as lifeguard and swim instructor as needed. • Serve as a positive role model for campers, staff, and other camp administrators.
DAYS/HOURS: June 21-August 13, 2010 Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-4:00pm
